{the beach}

…this is what your life looks like when you live across the street from the Pacific Ocean! My sister moved to Oahu for school 10 years ago and she has never moved home…can’t blame her, right? But I sure miss her and these beautiful children. And you too Corbin. Miss you guys so much it hurts. I had so much fun visiting you and following you around the beach a little with my camera, capturing your world, your playground. My niece, Indie (if I called her Hawaii girl I could get her to do anything) at age 3 is more natural in the water than I am! I LOVEd photographing her pure, unrestrained childhood play as she jumped in and out of the ocean, navigating the waves and current. How is such a little mermaid related to ME? And my nephew, Tosh. Oh my gosh, he is so adorable. I couldn’t take my eyes or my camera off of him (don’t tell Sam I have more pictures of Tosh than him!). Doesn’t he look like a little beach angel on the rocks above? His tan skin and aqua blue piercing eyes, his white hair…oh man, he just melts me. I love you Tosh and Indie! Thank you for letting me stay with you and play on your beautiful beach!
